The lay flat feature is interesting, but the title page was misprinted (folded under the print) and cover was already separating when it arrived to me. Advertised as premium and just falls short. My Strathmore watercolor sketch works just as well.
I have recently started a daily sketch journal and my quell lay-flat sketchbook holds up really well! I use my koi watercolors (I don’t saturate the page, as this sketchbook is really not meant for watercolors but holds up well with a light layer or two) and I’ve loved decorating the outside with stickers to make it my own! Very satisfied overall.
Really love the quality of the cover and the paper. Feels very premium. The pages seem solidly stitched in. Very pleased.
